That is God’s

In my journey, I have changed. I am not the same person I was in 2010. My thought patterns and relationship with God, my Creator, have changed. The more I take time to commune with God, the more I become the real me.

Each season in my life is different than the one before. I am glad of this; otherwise, my life would be dreary. Yes, difficult times happen, as they do, either because of decisions made or life in general.

When facing something difficult, I can either react in an old pattern or not. The more I learn from spending time with God, the more I learn to walk through difficulty without the emotions I had before that were toxic. His presence within me helps me through.

Mediation changes me from the inside out. I am not changing outward patterns but the mindset within me.

Joshua 1:6-9 (The Voice) is probably one of the passages that keep me focused.

6 “So be strong and courageous, for you will lead this people as they acquire and then divide the land I promised to their ancestors. 7 Always be strong and courageous, and always live by all of the law I gave to my servant Moses, never turning from it—even ever so slightly—so that you may succeed wherever you go. 8 Let the words from the book of the law be always on your lips. Meditate on them day and night so that you may be careful to live by all that is written in it. If you do, as you make your way through this world, you will prosper and always find success.

9 This is My command: be strong and courageous. Never be afraid or discouraged because I am your God, the Eternal One, and I will remain with you wherever you go.”
