Reflection and Being

For those of you who have been following my blog, thank you.
I have taken a few months off for personal reasons. You know, life just gets in the way, and new possibilities come and must be explored. Here are some thoughts.
Exploration in a person's life is a deeply personal experience. Reflection and being honest are vital to understanding who you are. Asking questions and seeking answers are all valid. I believe that each person would benefit from taking some time to reflect on who they are in Christ Jesus and focusing on their purpose within their identity.
God created each of us for a purpose. Some may be to help or support others. Some may be to lead or co-lead. Some may be creative, and some may be in business. It really doesn't matter, except that we should be aware of how and where we fit in.
I know that Father would like us to rest in Him as we live out our purpose. And, that purpose may need to change for our benefit, and Father will direct our path in that.
We can sometimes get in a rut and then get stuck with "doing" what we've always done. For myself, I have been in that rut and stuck. This is when I needed to stop what I was "doing" and step away for a higher perspective. Being honest with ourselves can be a challenging task. To want to change to something better, we really need to be honest about what we desire the change or thing to be.
Taking time to reflect and be silent is a great way to get a better perspective. Making time to be still and not striving. Breathing deeply and giving your body time to thrive with oxygen. When we take the time to stop and just be who we are, who Father created us to be, our focus is not on ourselves. Thoughts just go by as we sit quietly, not engaging. Our body then begins to relax, and the clarity of mind gently comes.
Father, through the Holy Spirit and his angels, calls to us to come and rest. To be who He created us to be. The world would like us to be something else. Our response to that is to sit with the Trinity, quiet, breathing them in and out. Being still and intimately knowing who God (the Trinity) is.
The bells ring out
A blue light
A call, once again
Come to Me
All who are weary
All who are heavy laden
Seek My rest
All that you need
I have for you
Just ask
Deep within the earth
A rumbling of awakening
Listen, be aware
Awakening is here
No more slumbering
Get up, get ready
Seek My rest
Peace, My shalom abounds
My love is flowing
Some are confused
They've never felt the Light
Love is only a word
Yet, Love is stronger
More powerful
For healing
Seek My rest
Allow Me to do the work
I work from the inside out
Changing and restoring
As Refiner's fire moves
It reworks our character
Refining and aligning
Seek My rest
As the River of Life
Flows from My throne
Into the earth - Rest
Breathe in My glory
Allow it to transform you
As you seek My rest
